Coteaux Bourguignons is the new appellation of the Bourgogne Grand Ordinaire wine since the 2011 vintage, refering to the famous hills of Burgundy. In order to extract the best of the Côte de Nuits terroir, our Coteaux Bourguignons is exclusively elaborated with Chardonnay variety.
This vine grows on a fully clay and limestone soil. Growing up on a fairly deep brown soil typical of the appellation, grapes of that parcel express the essential qualities of a white Burgundy.
At table, this wine will be easily accompanied by a dish with scallops.
