It is in 1120 that one finds the first mention of Morey, place of asylum of the monks of Cîteaux in the fourteenth century which possessed probably many vines and even a winery already in 1306. The name extends from Gevrey-Chambertin to Chambolle-Musigny and counts about 148 ha composed of 80% red wines.
This wine is made up of 50% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Beurrot, 25% Pinot Blanc. The plot is located at the top of the hillside, above the Grand Cru "Clos des Lambrays". The soil is very stony and limestone.
A rich and complex wine that will be perfectly accompanied by creamy white meats.
